Construction Management / Supervisory Services (Contract)
Location: Norfolk
Contract Type: 6-Month Contract (Outside IR35)
Start Date: April 2025
Rate: £40 - £45 per hour LTD (Outside IR35)
Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support the delivery of transmission and distribution upgrades for a gas plant site in Norfolk. This contract role offers the opportunity to work on complex construction scopes within a highly regulated sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing construction management on site.
- Working closely with the client, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Managing multi-discipline contractors and ensuring adherence to CDM regulations in the role of Principal Contractor.
- Supporting design development, subcontractor management, procurement, and quality assurance.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Liaising with clients and multidisciplinary design teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven UK onshore construction management experience within the Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Transmission & Distribution, or Oil & Gas sectors (essential).
- Experience operating as Principal Contractor under CDM regulations while working with a design team.
- Mechanical and EC&I experience (highly desirable).
- CCNSG or CSCS certification.
- Strong background in subcontract management, procurement, design development, and quality management.
- Right to work in the UK – this role is only open to candidates with indefinite eligibility to work in the UK.
