Description

 Our client based in Surrey requires a Technical Safety and Environmental Engineer on an onshore FEED Project for an initial 12 month contract role starting as soon as possible. Further extensions may well be possible.

The role will be full time and office based in Surrey but with the flexibility to allow up to 2 days per week (maximum) to be worked from home/remotely. Limited company contractors will be able to operate as the role has been determined outside of IR35. Rates have not been confirmed but are believed to be in the region of £75 per hour. This is a temporary contract requiring a start as soon as possible. The client will not provide any assistance with VISA applications so applicants must have existing eligibility to work in the UK before making an application.

Job Description

This will be a heavy oil / sour service FEED Development project for work taking in place in Kuwait to meet the KOC 2040 strategy. The FEED comprises heavy oil production facility with their utilities, auxiliaries, and product export pipelines networks and makeup Water pipeline.

 

Lead a Project Technical Safety and Environmental Team to execute a 12 month FEED Project, at peak manpower loading the team will be 11 people. Work scope includes risk studies, loss prevention, noise and environmental. Must have a degree in Engineering, minimum 12 years total experience, minimum 8 years with oil, gas, petrochemical, and minimum 5 years in Technical Safety and Environment.

 

Work scope includes risk studies, loss prevention, noise and environmental as follows:

Project FEED HSE Plan with HSE Activity Plan for Definition Stage, Review of HSE legal compliance requirements, HSE Philosophy Documents (e.g. F&G, HAC, FP, etc.), Escape, Evacuation and Rescue Assessment (EERA), Main Facility Siting, Detailed Layout Review, Confirmation of Siting & Layout Assessment, Detailed HAZID, Initial HAZOP, Initial SIL, Main QRA,  Asset Integrity, Safety Critical Elements (SCE) and Performance Standards, Main FERA, Main Fire & Safety Review, ALARP Demonstration, Active/Passive FP, F&G Layout & C&E, Update Project HSE Risk Register, Update Project HSE Decision Register, SIMOPS, ESIA Scoping Report, Environmental & Social Impact Assessment Study (ESIAS) – (Category-A), Project Execution HSE Plan with HSE Activity Plan for Execution Stage, HSE Lessons Learned, PHSER 2
