Description

We are currently looking to support our client based in Surrey with a requirement for a Principal Electrical Engineer on an Offshore FEED Project for an initial 12 month contract - with possible extensions. Hybrid working will be possible but 3 days per week must be performed in the office.
A likely rate of £65 per hour is available - outside of IR35 so Limited Company contractors CAN operate.

This is a UK temporary contract role so applicants must hold EXISTING eligibility to work in the UK via residency or work permit/VISA. Neither ourselves nor our client can apply for these.

Job Description

 Principal Electrical Engineer with demonstrable experience of designing electrical systems for various energy transition projects for FEED and EPC work. Their experience shall include designs for offshore electrical distribution power systems and brownfield modifications. Knowledge should include BP Standards and UK North Sea Practices.

 The work is for brownfield modifications associated with the tie-in of a new platform in the FEED stage. The work will include development of SLDs / load lists, sizing HV equipment,  UPS systems, development of philosophies, specifications and datasheets.

 They will be working as part of a team supporting the lead engineer.
