Location: Surrey (Office-Based, 5 Days Per Week, Hybrid Possible with Two Days Remote)
Contract Type: 6-Month Contract (Outside IR35 Subject to Qdos Assessment)
Rate: Circa £65.00 per hour Ltd Co

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Safety Engineer to lead a technical safety and environmental team on a major LNG FEED Project. The role involves providing technical direction, ensuring the delivery of key project safety documents and layouts, and overseeing productivity across the safety scope. Existing eligibility to work in the UK without client sponsorship is necessary before applying.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a technical safety and environmental team across the FEED project phase Provide technical guidance to the team and ensure delivery of all assigned project safety activities Oversee progress and productivity in relation to safety deliverables Review and validate safety reports, layouts, and other related documents for completeness and quality
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience leading project teams on FEED or EPC projects Expert-level knowledge in several areas of Technical Safety and Environmental scope, with a working understanding of all areas Strong background in checking and validating safety deliverables, including layouts and reports Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a relevant role, with typical candidate experience averaging 20+ years Demonstrated leadership ability within large, multi-disciplinary engineering projects
