Rotating Equipment Engineer – LNG FEED Project (12-Month Contract, Inside IR35)

Location: Surrey (Office-Based, 5 Days Per Week)

Contract Type: 12-Month Contract (Inside IR35)

Start Date: Immediate. Applicants will require existing and current eligibility to work in the UK.

Our client is seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer to support an LNG FEED Project, working within the client’s team to develop engineering deliverables for a new train on an LNG plant. Candidates must have previous Aramco project experience and extensive knowledge of rotating machinery applications in LNG, refinery, or gas processing services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise in the concept, FEED, and detailed design phases of rotating machinery applications.
  • Develop standard FEED deliverables, including datasheets, specifications, requisitions, and technical evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with API standards for rotating equipment and seals.
  • Update designs and specifications in line with latest safety standards and advancements in rotating machinery.
  • Support early order placement for long-lead items.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver project objectives efficiently.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 12+ years' experience in rotating equipment engineering, gained from a consultant engineering company, machinery manufacturer, or end-user company.
  • Strong background in LNG, refinery, or gas processing services.
  • Experience in LNG compression systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of API standards on rotating equipment and seals.
  • Previous experience working on Aramco projects (essential).
  • Strong understanding of safety improvements and their application in rotating machinery design.
