Rotating Equipment Engineer – LNG FEED Project (12-Month Contract, Inside IR35)
Location: Surrey (Office-Based, 5 Days Per Week)

Our client is seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer to support an LNG FEED Project, working within the client’s team to develop engineering deliverables for a new train on an LNG plant. Candidates must have previous Aramco project experience and extensive knowledge of rotating machinery applications in LNG, refinery, or gas processing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise in the concept, FEED, and detailed design phases of rotating machinery applications.
- Develop standard FEED deliverables, including datasheets, specifications, requisitions, and technical evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with API standards for rotating equipment and seals.
- Update designs and specifications in line with latest safety standards and advancements in rotating machinery.
- Support early order placement for long-lead items.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver project objectives efficiently.
Candidate Requirements:
- 12+ years' experience in rotating equipment engineering, gained from a consultant engineering company, machinery manufacturer, or end-user company.
- Strong background in LNG, refinery, or gas processing services.
- Experience in LNG compression systems.
- Extensive knowledge of API standards on rotating equipment and seals.
- Previous experience working on Aramco projects (essential).
- Strong understanding of safety improvements and their application in rotating machinery design.
