Key Details:
Location: Ellesmere Port, with occasional site visits.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Contract: Permanent
Reporting to: Mechanical/Process Design Lead.
Requirements:
Expertise in ATEX and mechanical design for hazardous areas. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Familiarity with the design life cycles of complex projects. Understanding of industry regulations and standards. Experience in the process, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries.
Primary Responsibilities:
Providing technical support in weekly project meetings. Liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure project delivery. Conducting design reviews and supporting in-house manufacturing. Specifying project materials.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Managing and approving project drawings. Assisting in sales quotes and project handovers. Offering support for build queries and promoting performance improvements.
Pay & Benefits:
Salary: £45K per annum.
