We’re looking for a Controls Engineer to join a small engineering consultancy specialist involved in design, installation and commissioning projects for industrial automated machinery on a 3 month contract basis (outside IR35).
What does the C&I Engineer job involve?
- Working in close collaboration with the client and end customer, the C&I Engineer will be responsible mainly for PLC programming activities.
- You will also be responsible for providing functional specifications to enable users to operate.
- A small amount of acceptance testing may be required as part of the overall installation.
What skills and experience do you need?
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Control & Instrumentation Engineering or HNC/HND level with significant experience.
- Experienced in PLC programming.
- Good working knowledge of Siemens and Mitsubishi PLC’s and HMI’s.
- Proven track record of similar work for industrial machinery installation and upgrade projects.
What are the pay and benefits?
- £40-£45 ph Ltd Company - (Outside IR35)
- Work from home with occasional requirements to visit customer site.
