We are seeking a Structural Designer with experience in Reinforced Concrete to support a team of Civil/Structural Engineers and Designers based in South Manchester. This is an opportunity to work for a well-established company on a number of exciting commercial projects. The company are fully compliant on BIM and are using the latest 3D software.

What does the job involve?

Support a team of Civil/Structural Engineers and Designers with the production of Reinforced Concrete drawings for a variety of projects including Residential, Office Blocks and large commercial. Drawings to be completed using mainly AutoCAD, Revit and Tekla. There will be an opportunity to learn Tekla and other 3D packages for the correct person. The company also complete numerous Steel projects and therefore involvement in this can be expected.

What skills and experience do you need?

  • HND/HNC or equivalent or above
  • Experience of working with Reinforced Concrete
  • Experience in Commercial Building Structures projects
  • Understanding of industry standards and ability to translate requirements to CAD drawings
  • Minimum 4 years’ relevant industry experience
  • Must be proficient on AutoCAD, Tekla would be advantageous
  • Experience in Revit would be an advantage
