We’re looking for a Senior Architectural Technician/Technologist to join our Preston-based client on a permanent-basis.

Responsibilities

Using Revit and complying with the latest BIM standards, you will design and deliver a number of high-profile projects. You will be a confident communicator and be comfortable with taking the lead on projects.

  • Use Revit for design and clash detection

  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and manufacturers to ensure project coordination
  • Undertake technical research
  • Produce construction package information
  • Deal directly with fabrication and site teams to produce details and solutions to resolve issues on live projects

Skills and experience

  • Experience using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
  • Experience leading projects as a Senior Architectural Technologist/Technician
  • Capable of reading and accurately interpreting drawings and technical specifications
  • Experience reviewing and commenting on subcontractors’ drawings
  • An understanding of the importance of sequencing and best practice construction methods
  • Thorough understanding of construction detailing with a portfolio demonstrating strong technical ability
  • Experience delivering projects in Revit
  • Minimum HND, HNC or degree in relevant subject
  • Minimum 5 years working in industry

Pay and benefits

  • £37,000 – £42,000 doe
