DATS are looking for a Maintenance Planner to join a client of ours in North Wales. The role is on a long-term contract basis.

What does the job involve?

You will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of the effective and efficient preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Within your role, you will also collaborate with CMMS specialist for preparation and follow-up planning and interface with the Technical department.

The role is office based but will require frequent offshore visits so health certs and offshore certificates must be in place.

What skills and experience do you need?

  • Engineering degree or relevant equivalent experience
  • Familiar with the use of SAP/MS Project programs
  • Be well acquainted with the operational methods and details related to daily activities of a maintenance engineering office
  • Extensive experience in planning and control of multi-disciplinary activities
  • Knowledge of planning and controlling budgetary aspects of work and contract management requirements
  • Previous experience in the upstream O&G industry with significant exposure to offshore and onshore projects
  • Good working knowledge of software applications, such as MS Office, SAP, MS Project, CMMS
  • Deep knowledge of maintenance process and projects investment process
