Lead Estimator – LNG FEED Project (12-Month Contract, Outside IR35 Subject to Assessment)

Rate: Circa £70.00 per hour Ltd Co

Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Estimator to support an LNG FEED Project, working closely with the Project Controls Manager to develop accurate project estimates and cost analysis. This role requires a minimum of four days per week on-site, with strong preference given to candidates with Aramco project experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop preliminary and definitive project estimates using historical data on labour availability, productivity, and material pricing.
- Conduct cost studies, cash flow analysis, and prospect evaluations.
- Establish priorities, delegate tasks, and provide guidance for successful estimate completion.
- Interpret internal and external project cost trends, developing best practices to enhance estimation accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and business strategy.
Candidate Requirements:
- Extensive experience in cost estimating within LNG, energy, or process industries.
- Previous experience on Aramco projects (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for cost estimation and analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (ACCE).
- Ability to lead estimation efforts, provide project insights, and collaborate effectively with project stakeholders.
