Construction Management / Supervisory Services (Contract)
Location: Buckinghamshire
Contract Type: 6-Month Contract (Outside IR35)
Start Date: April 2025
Rate: £40 - £45 per hour LTD (Outside IR35)
Our client is seeking experienced Construction Managers and Supervisors to support the delivery of transmission and distribution upgrade projects across sites in the South of England. This contract role offers the opportunity to work on complex construction scopes within a highly regulated sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing construction management and supervision across multiple sites.
- Working closely with the client, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Managing multi-discipline contractors and ensuring adherence to CDM regulations in the role of Principal Contractor.
- Supporting design development, subcontractor management, procurement, and quality assurance.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Liaising with clients and multidisciplinary design teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven UK onshore construction management experience within the Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Transmission & Distribution, or Oil & Gas sectors (essential).
- Experience operating as Principal Contractor under CDM regulations while working with a design team.
- Mechanical and EC&I experience (highly desirable).
- CCNSG or CSCS certification.
- Strong background in subcontract management, procurement, design development, and quality management.
- Right to work in the UK – this role is only open to candidates with indefinite eligibility to work in the UK.
