We are looking to recruit a Construction Planner (M&E Bias) to support our client based in Liverpool workong in the construction sector.
Working from their head office and visiting all their Construction Projects across the North West, they hope to add this position as a further team member to work alongside all the departments, within the business, and help to produce and manage :
- Design Programmes
- Procurement Schedules and Procurement Programmes
- Construction Programmes
- Commissioning and Finishing Programmes
This will be an office based, full time permanent staff position working standard hours Monday to Friday. Salary figures have not been confirmed but will be negotiable and at the upper end of market levels based on prior experience and suitability.
"The above would be produced in collaboration with our teams in Pre-Construction, Design, Operations, Commissioning Engineers, our Supply Chain partners, and, importantly, with our customers and their Planning Teams.
The role includes managing and controlling all live projects, including monitoring progress with site teams, highlighting any areas of concern to the Operations Team, and taking action to mitigate any potential issues.

Candidates will require good prior experience as a construction planner within an M&E environment. They will require proficiency in a typical planning software application such as Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, or Microsoft Project. They will also require:
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
