Description

About our client: Our client is a fast-growing manufacturer of printed plastic cards, offering quick turnaround times and exceptional customer service. Along with producing plastic cards, they provide additional products such as card holders, packaging, and fulfilment services. With 40 employees and recent investment, they are poised for further expansion and are looking to add an Artworker to their studio team to help manage and prepare artwork for production.

Role Overview: This is a fantastic opportunity for an Artworker to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will work alongside account managers and customers, managing and preparing artwork for production. While the role may attract graphic designers due to the need for proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, the primary focus is on ensuring artwork is ready for print, including modifying customer artwork and preparing it for production across a variety of media.

Key Responsibilities:

Modify and prepare customer artworks for print production, including plastic cards, printed media, and packaging. Work closely with account managers and customers to ensure artwork and variable data are accurate before production. Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and their artwork teams. Manage multiple artwork projects simultaneously to meet deadlines. Ensure all artwork files are correctly formatted for production and meet the company’s quality standards. Assist with other tasks related to the production process as needed.

Skills and Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in a graphic design or artwork-related role. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good computer skills, including familiarity with Excel. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

What they Offer:

Salary: £25,000 - £26,500 per annum, including opportunities for overtime. A dynamic and growing business environment. The chance to be part of a forward-thinking, expanding team. Full-time, permanent position.
