We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Mechanical Engineers/ Fitters for on-site contract requirements based around the Deeside / North Wales region. These will be ad-hoc contract requirements to start as soon as possible. Durations can vary and so this role will only be suitable for people immediately available, or true contractors who have availability in their schedule to accept adhoc work as required. Successful candidates are likely to be invited back for further Mechanical requirements in the future, with the potential for long term working relationships to be established. This is a temporary contract requiring a start as soon as possible. The client will not provide any assistance with VISA applications so applicants must have existing eligibility to work in the UK before making an application.
Hours may vary and there may be room for flexibility however typical site days are expected to be 12 hours, 6am to 6pm, Monday to Friday subject to the individual site opening hours. Rates of pay will be in the region of £17-£19 per hour (gross Ltd) with the possibility for overtime if any weekend work is required.
I’m keen to see CVs from Mechanical Engineers/Fitters with experience in general assembly, metal-work and hand tools. The company offers fabrication, refurbishment and repair services to clients across the local area involving Mild steel and Stainless steel. This includes on-site service and maintenance services from complete factory shutdowns and start up to on site repairs. Mechanical candidates with good experience working on shutdowns would be highly desirable with a proven track record of reliability and hard work. Candidates will require their own Safety boots, sensible work wear, and must also have their own basic hand tools such as Allen keys, hammers, tape measures, spanners etc.
