We are currently looking to support our client operating in the process industry sector with a requirement for a Piping Designer to work on a 12 month contract – with the possibility for further extensions.
This will be based out of a Surrey office with 3 days per week required in office, and 2 days able to be worked from home. This contract has been assessed as inside IR35 and so applicants must be aware of this and pitch their rate expectations accordingly via a PAYE or umbrella solution. No figures have been released and we are happy to assist prospective candidates with estimates and likely net outcomes.
A short description is given below but we are looking for candidates with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience and must be conversant with the use of SmartPlant 3D software. A min of Higher National Certificates in relevant subject with around 7-10 years of piping design experience.
Candidate must be HNC/HND qualified (as a minimum) in relevant subject, and have previous experience in a similar role, in the oil and gas industry (Cryogenics).
Hands on experience of SP3D / PDS Piping software and associated modules Should have experience of leading piping design and development of 3D model and leading model reviews.
