MicroStation Designer

DATS are looking to recruit a MicroStation Designer to join our client based in Greater on a long term basis. Our client is a multi-discipline engineering design consultancy working across a number of industries including Water, Rail and Infrastructure.

What does the job involve?

The main purpose of the MicroStation Designer would be to undertake design projects within the Water, Rail and Infrastructure sectors. You will be able to produce both 2D and 3D designs and general 2D construction drawings.  Working across multiple references via ProjectWise. The successful designer will take overall responsibility for plant layouts and construction drawing deliverables.

What skills and experience do you need?

  • Excellent experience of using Microstation (2D & 3D)
  • Working knowledge of Bentley ProjectWise
  • Civil design knowledge (Civil Layout, buried pipework, plant layouts etc)
  • Responsible for construction drawing deliverables
  • Experience project experience in the use of multiple reference layers via ProjectWise or other document management tools
  • Demonstrate experience in general MicroStation administration and project/drawing set-up in both MicroStation and ProjectWise will have an advantage
