Our client is an established firm of Civil and Structural Consulting Engineers with extensive experience within railway and highway infrastructure, bridges, geotechnics, buildings and temporary works. The practice boasts nine Chartered Engineers supported by a team of thirty technical and admin personnel. It is a small consultancy, with a close-knit team in a friendly relaxed environment and flat management structure, where you are not just a number or cog in the system.
What does the job involve?
Reporting to the Principal Engineer and Director as a Civil/Structural Engineer you will take ownership of projects from start to finish undertaking every aspect from calculations to project management, finances to inspections, in increasing scale and assist on larger and more complex projects. You will have the opportunity to work autonomously, supported where necessary, on a wide variety of projects, including rail, domestic and commercial structures and temporary works
